pods.media is the leading onchain podcast distribution channel. Podcast creators can upload their podcasts, allow listeners to collect unique NFTs for each episode, recognize their top fans, and earn revenue while doing so Listeners can support their favorite creators, get recognized as top listeners, and trade in their NFTs for utility the creator selects

OVERVIEW & GOAL

Redesigning the Creators dashboard to increase tooling to engage with collectors and simplify episodes upload

I worked on this product as a Product Designer, focused on building features that help creators engage with their supporters (collectors) and make it easier to publish podcast episodes onchain. The Creators Dashboard is where creators can start a new podcast, manage their shows, and publish episodes on the Base network.

I collaborated with three engineers and one product manager to redesign the dashboard. My work focused on:

Designing tools for creators to track their earnings and monitor collector activity (e.g., recent collectors, top collectors)
Enabling creators to import episodes via RSS feed and publish new episodes
Creating a settings feature to invite and manage team members
Designing a streamlined earnings page where creators can view and withdraw their earnings with ease

Our goal was to help creators earn their first dollar, expand tooling to interact with collectors, support easy onboarding of new shows via email, and enable episode uploads with as few clicks as possible. We also focused on simplifying channel management, allowing creators to edit all aspects of their show, and providing default publishing settings to reduce setup friction.
