pods.media is the leading onchain podcast distribution channel. Podcast creators can upload their podcasts, allow listeners to collect unique NFTs for each episode, recognize their top fans, and earn revenue while doing so Listeners can support their favorite creators, get recognized as top listeners, and trade in their NFTs for utility the creator selects

OVERVIEW & GOAL

Redesigning the Homepage to Boost Discoverability and Collector Engagement

I joined the Pods team as a Product Designer to help improve discoverability and collector activity on the homepage. The homepage is where users can discover podcast episodes either to listen to or mint as NFTs to support the creators.

I collaborated with three engineers and one product manager to redesign the homepage experience. My work focused on:

  • Showcasing playlists featuring multiple episodes
  • Surfacing episodes through curated categories like Trending, For You, and New
  • Introducing a Leaderboard to drive competition among top collectors
  • Designing a search feature that allows users to find pods, episodes, guests, and topics more easily

Our goal was to make the homepage more dynamic, increase discoverability, and boost engagement from collectors using the platform.
